The ability to easily access the tools we have become dependent on for our day to day lives is something that the majority of the population takes for granted every day. For some however, accessibility is never guaranteed, making every day a new challenge.

Given the ubiquity of these vital digital services, you would hope that accessibility is a top priority for the businesses delivering them, but while most would never say they don't care about accessibility, few are taking any steps to proactively tackle the issue.

We recently had the chance to sit down with Rela8 Group Advisory Board member and accessibility champion, Douglas Silverstone, as well as Adi Latif, Accessibility Consultant at AbilityNet to discuss some of the challenges around accessibility and how they can be tackled.
