Happy Holidays – 2022 end of year wrap up
At the end of last year we hoped that 2022 would bring more of everything that made 2021 great. Well here we are, at the end of another crazy year, and we’re happy to say that 2022 has been everything 2021 was and more. This year has been chock full of events, new partnerships, and new ways of bringing our community together. 2022 has been challenging for many of us, but we at Rela8 Group want to reflect on our year and focus on all the amazing things that have happened.

Since January, we have held a staggering 120 virtual roundtables and 38 live events, connecting 1196 our Technology Leaders Club community with industry leading vendors. With a 50% conversion rate achieved by our dedicated Customer Success Team this year, that’s an estimated £29.8M worth of business generated across our vendor community.
We take pride in our work facilitating positive discussions and building new relationships – when we look at those stats, we see the positive changes we are driving in the tech IT, Security, and Data Technology industry.
As we know, 2022 saw the triumphant return of live events and the power of face-to-face! With Wembley at our fingertips, we had the pleasure of bringing some truly spectacular events to our community this year, 12 in fact, from the FA Cup finals and Boxing Finals to Ed Sheeran and Coldplay.
On top of that, we were also jetting around the world to host 18 private dinner evenings, landing in London, Manchester, Paris, Stockholm, Stuttgart, Munich, and Dallas. As if that wasn’t enough, we would be remiss if we didn’t mention the 4 adrenaline fuelled track days, 2 episodes of TLC TV, and 2 TLC Connect events.
These face-to-face events will continue to play a key part for the Technology Leaders Club communities next year, as a way to facilitate even more meaningful relationships, discussions and business opportunities.
A growing community of Technology Leaders and strategic partners
Our Technology Leaders Club delegate community of CISOs, CIOs, CDOs and IT leaders across the UK, Europe and USA has grown by a staggering 67%, and we are proud to play host to their collective voice.
To share this voice with the world, 2022 saw the introduction of the TLC Unfiltered podcast hosted by the incomparable comedy duo Ian Murphy and Emmanuel Sonubi. We’re already 6 episodes in and can’t wait for more. As we continue to grow, so does our list of partners.
This year we joined hands with some amazing organisations and now count Decipher Cyber, Ability Net, the Chartered Institute of Information Security, and Tech Show London as our partners. These partnerships offer huge learning, business, and networking opportunities for our vendor and delegate communities, so we look forward to growing our network even further as we look ahead to 2023.

So amid all the chaos in the world at the moment, it’s important to tear ourselves away from the global news cycle every now and then to reflect on the personal wins. However big or small. 2022 has certainly been memorable, we want to remember it for all the good that happened.
